Privacy Policy

Master Set Cards is built to be used without telling us who you are. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies. This page explains the little that is collected.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts, we do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell or share personal information with anyone.

Reporting an issue with a card

Every card has a “Report an issue” form for telling us about a mistake. If you send one, we store what you wrote, which card it was about and the address of the page you were on. We do not ask who you are, so please leave personal details out of the message.

To keep spam out, the form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA. It loads only when you open the form, not while you browse. Once loaded, Google collects device and browser information, may set its own cookies, and tells us how likely the sender is to be a person; we keep that score with the report. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.

Server logs

Like every website, the servers that deliver our pages and card images receive your IP address, your browser type and the address of the page you asked for. Our hosting and content delivery providers keep this in short-lived logs to run the service, fix faults and block abuse. We do not use these logs to identify you or follow you around the site.

What is stored on your device

We do not set cookies ourselves; the only ones come from Google, if you open the report form described above. The site saves one setting in your browser’s local storage: the card size you last chose, so the cards stay that size on your next visit. It never leaves your device, and you can remove it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Shop links

Links to eBay and TCGplayer may be affiliate links. We send nothing about you when you click one, but the link itself tells the shop that you arrived from Master Set Cards, and the shop may set its own cookies so it can credit us if you buy. What those sites collect once you are there is covered by their own privacy policies.

Children

The site is suitable for all ages, and because it collects no personal information from anyone it collects none from children.

Changes

If the site starts collecting anything more, this page will say so first, and the date at the top will change.
